Pregnant, Homeless and Ashamed: Can you help?

Here is a story of great needs: "On Friday, March 26, 2010 12:28:44 AM UTC, eileen wrote: Hello. I am single, 5 months pregnant and was just evicted from my home. I am working full time, and I save money whenever possible, but I fell behind in my payments a couple of months ago when my car broke down. I had to use almost a whole month's pay to fix it, but I no choice because I needed a way to get to work to keep my job. My landlord worked with me for a couple of months, but he is also having trouble making ends meet. He had other people interested in renting my apartment, so he said he couldn't help me anymore. I am now sleeping in my car and washing up at work. I do not mind for myself, but I am concerned for my baby. I do not feel safe in the car or in the local shelter. I am also worried that since I don't have a kitchen to prepare food any more, I am not able to eat as healthy as I should for the baby. I applied for the Women, Infants & Children program in my state, and for food stamps, and those programs are wonderful, but without a refrigerator and stove, I can't benefit from many of the healthy food options that they provide. I also applied for housing assistance, but the waiting list in my area is extremely long. I am so ashamed to ask perfect strangers for help. I pray every day to find safe, affordable housing near my work. I am saving the best I can for first month, last month and a security deposit. I think that one of my prayers was answered when I found this website. If you can find it in your heart to help, any amount would be a blessing. When I am back on my feet, I promise that I will return it to you or pay it forward to another needy person; which ever you would prefer. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Bless You"

Family in Financial Crisis Needs Your Intervention: Husband Is Forced to Let His Wife Join a Club as a Dancer to pay $20,000 in bills

Here is the story of the family's situation: "navarrerazorboi@hotmail.com> " Tomorrow will be the hardest day of my life. Tomorrow my daughter who is almost two years old is going to live with her disabled grandma 100 miles away from me and my wife because we fell into financial crisis. The trailer we have been buying from my wives grandparents is falling apart and was falling apart when we moved in. It seemed like a great idea in the beginning and was really our only option. We took over payments when my wife was pregnant and have been making the payments every month at $500. We have paid about $12,000 total. i have been the only one working for the past 2 1/2 years so that my wife could be a stay at home mom (who better to raise a child than the mother) I have been working at a temp service however and they offer little or no medical coverage. Needless to say with the pregnancy and regular check ups our medical debts have compounded quite nicely, and now my daughter has to get vision therapy or she may lose sight in her right eye. i picked up a second job for a while working nearly 70 hours a week but still couldn't get caught up on anything. Here is where it gets better/worse. We decided we want to move to a different city closer to my daughters doctor. Problem is we have no credit and about $20,000 in various bills and collections. We don't want to move into another trailer, we want a secure home. A house. In order to make this happen as fast as possible my wife is going to start working at a club as a dancer. Not something either of us really want to have happen but the money is good and we are willing to do anything we can to make this happen as quick as possible to reunite our family in a home of our own. i have the option to work 50+ hours a week at 14 dollars an hour and i will be doing so. My wife is going to work 4 nights on and than have 4 days off to help my mom in the next town with our daughter. We are staying with friends here in town to save up as much as we can as fast as we can to get this done. We estimate in 2 years we could have enough money to pay off all of our debts and have a nice down payment on the house we want. But that is two years of struggling to be able to see our daughter as much as possible while we work towards this. We can do it i have no doubts but we can never replace the time we are going to lose. I have worked my whole life and will continue to do so. I have also thrown many charity events when we were doing good financialy, such as local toy drives for Christmas and benefit concerts to raise money for the veterans of foreign wars and will do so again once we are back where we need to be in life. The money i have raised is so meager compared to what i am asking for but i promise to pay it forward in time. Our estimated goal is roughly $200,000 to take care of all debts and to own our own home. We are both working and will continue to do so but anything we can get to eliminate the time in between will be very very appreciated. Thank you for your time and i wish you all well regardless if you donate to us or not"

Family of 6 on Brink of Financial Crisis Needs Your Help, Invites You to Participate in Fundraising

Here is the story submitted by the parent.

"This family is not in a financial crisis but are on the brink. They would enjoy to live comfortably. They deserve to live comfortably. There are 4 kids and 2 parents in the household. Both parents are going to college and are law abiding citizens. One of the parents are going to college for Criminal Justice and the other for accounting. The father is an Army Veteran and supporting his family off of his G.I. Bill stipend that he gets for being a Full-Time student. He has almost one year left of his benefits and still owes near 25k on his home. If there is anybody out there who has a paypal and is willing to send only one dollar and pass this message along to their friends, family, colleagues.. as many people as they possibly could that would be greatly appreciated. If more than one dollar that's even better, but I am asking only for one dollar. You would keep a family in their home. One dollar is not alot and there is nothing to lose.. except one dollar. If this chain actually has an impact on the family. I will be sure that they upload a thank you video on Youtube so you all who donated can see them saying thank you. I don't know of any other way of going about raising money for this family. Fingers crossed. Please pass this message along.

Paypal email. adrjunkie85@gmail.com Original Date for the start of this chain. June 3, 2013 at 1:50am

Ill even give the video a youtube name right now. If this has a great positive impact I will have the family name the video, "Thanks for the help June 3" and the description will have that email listed with it.
